Returns arriving at our Nottingham warehouse are received and logged on the same day. Inspection is carried out within 1 working day of receipt, and saleable items are returned to your active inventory within 1–2 working days of arrival. During peak returns periods (post-Christmas, post-Black Friday) we increase staffing to maintain these timescales. Your dashboard updates in real time at every stage.

We support Royal Mail Tracked Returns and Evri ParcelShop Returns as standard — giving your customers access to 11,500+ Post Office branches and 5,000+ Evri drop-off locations across the UK. Pre-paid labels can be generated on demand via our portal, printed in advance for inclusion in your outgoing packaging, or integrated with your branded returns page. For high-value items requiring collection, DPD and DHL collection returns can be arranged on request.

Items that fail your agreed inspection criteria are quarantined with a condition reason code and an optional photo — both immediately visible in your dashboard. You then choose what happens: (1) disposal or recycling by EMFH, (2) bulk return to you, or (3) remediation (repackaging, relabelling) where possible. We advise on the most cost-effective route for each type of failed return. No failed item is disposed of without your instruction.

Yes. We can work with your existing returns portal software (e.g. ZigZag, ReturnGO, Loop Returns) to generate branded return labels and confirmation emails. Alternatively, we provide a simple returns portal from which your customers can generate a Royal Mail or Evri label using their order number. Branded packing slips with return instructions can also be included in your outgoing parcels.

Returns processing is charged at a flat per-return rate — covering receipt, logging, inspection, condition grading and either return to stock or quarantine. Items requiring repackaging before return to stock carry a small additional per-unit rate agreed upfront. Return label costs are charged at carrier cost (our negotiated rates, lower than retail). There are no monthly minimum return volumes and no fixed retainer fees.
